David was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya where he received a strong education in the British school structure. At 18 he moved to Hamilton, Ontario and graduated with honours from McMaster University.

After relocating to Vancouver, David started a job in a well-respected restaurant and worked his way to upper management where he spent five years.

Dave is well known in the community for his strong family ties and pleasant demeanor. Residing in North Vancouver with his wife and sons, their love for the outdoors is evident by annual camping trips, frequent hikes and kayaking in Deep Cove.
